About The HSO
Our Mission is to create a close collaboration between home and school with activities which will ensure our children can thrive - feeling accepted, capable and part of the community.
The HSO sponsors and/or contributes to our students and school in the following ways:
Sponsors all field trips
Sponsors Educational & Fun Assemblies
Runs Science Day Fair
Sponsors activities and food/drink for Field Day
Plans and executes events for Teacher Appreciation throughout the year
Theme Dance
Bingo Night
Provides Thunderbird scholarships to certain graduating Mahwah seniors who went to GW
Contributes to GW Grounds Beautification
Runs the Third Grade Send Off and funds the Third Grade Project
Sponsors activities at Family Night
Sponsored "Meet the Principal"
